TherapyPro+ was founded to give licensed mental health clinicians and private-practice owners something that has always been hard to find: high-quality, attorney-reviewed, HIPAA-compliant policy manuals and clinical resources built by someone who has actually run a behavioral health practice — and survived the audits, legal challenges, and HR disputes that come with it.
Who Built This
TherapyPro+ was created by A. J. Olson, MS, LMHC — a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly 15 years of clinical experience and over 20 years in healthcare and administrative leadership. A.J. has owned and operated a private practice and has worked in outpatient programs, agencies, and non-profits across Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
At the peak of her career, A.J. managed over six practice locations with nearly 25 providers and staff — simultaneously overseeing both mental health and substance use disorder services. She has sat across the table from licensing board auditors, navigated Medicaid and PPO reviews, managed HR disputes and wrongful termination claims, and responded to legal challenges. Every policy in the TherapyPro+ manuals was tested against real audits and real legal scrutiny. When something did not hold up, it was rewritten.
The manuals are not templates assembled from generic compliance checklists. They are the operational infrastructure A.J. built, refined, and defended over two decades of practice — now made available to every clinician who needs them.
